Week 0 - self introduction

Hi everyone, my name is James, a 43-year-old Operation Manager. You might be someone like me – someone who has been struggling with weight issues for quite some time. I have already tried out a few diet and workout plans, but they did not bring good results for me. I sort of gave up and ignored my weight problem until my doctor warned me about my bad cholesterol issue reflected on my blood test results. The doctor warned that this will greatly increase my risk of heart attack and stroke. The doctor advised me to go back for a review a few months later. If the bad cholesterol does not reduce to a healthy level, I need to go on statins. I decided to give my body a chance and embark on Eureka Wellness weight loss program, which assists with fat and weight loss of at least 8kg in less than two months, healthily and without exercising. Week 1 - Weight loss Update

Hi everyone, it's James again, and I wanted to give you a quick update on the first week of my weight loss program. In this first week, something interesting happened. I realised that I wasn't feeling hungry but rather, i felt intense cravings. It was an eye opener for me to distinguish between real hunger and those sneaky cravings that tried to trick me. Adapting to this new routine made me feel more tired than usual, but I know it is just my body getting used to the changes. The good news is, I have been sleeping better, and that make it worth it! Now, here is a goal I have set for myself to stay hydrated, and that is to drink at least 3 litres of water everyday. And guess what? The results are already showing! I've lost an incredible 3.4kg within 1 week. Just 1 week! Don't believe me? Check out the pictures for my readings. Week 2 - Weight loss Update

Hi there, its James again! Welcome to the week 2 update of my weight loss journey with this amazing program. I am excited to share my progress with all of you. Week 2 has been fantastic! The best part? I have experienced fewer cravings. It is amazing to notice the shift and feel more in control. Another big change is my increased water intake. I have gotten used to drinking 3.5 litres of water daily. It keep me refreshed and hydrated. I am excited to share that my clothes now feel looser, and when I touch my stomach, it feels less hard. In fact, I even treated myself to a one-size smaller shorts because I am feeling more confident about my progress! And here is the most exciting discovery so far - - - - my visceral fat, which is the dangerous fat, has dropped from 17 to 14.5. It is a marked improvement of 2.5 points down within 2 weeks. For my weight, I lost 5.4 kg within 2 weeks! That wraps up the highlights of week 2! I can't wait to see what lies ahead in week 3. Stay tuned for more updates on this wonderful journey. Week 3 - Weight loss Update

Hey everyone, James here. Can you believe we are now at the end of week 3 of the program? I have truly embraced the program and its protocol. I am glad to say that it has gradually become 2nd nature to me, and my discipline is unwavering. Cravings? No match for my determination. I firmly say no to any food that could hinder my progress. Its empowering to have this level of control. And speaking of progress, I have some incredible news to share. In just three weeks, I have lost an impressive 7.5 kg! Not only that, my BMI has also dropped from 30.1 to 27.7 I can physically feel the difference. I feel lighter, more energetic, and even my friends have noticed the positive change, especially in my slimmer face. Its an amazing confidence booster. Initially, I was focused on reaching the finishing line quickly. However, my perspective has shifted. Now, I am fully committed to embracing and completing this program. Week 4 - Weight loss Update

Hey, its James! I can hardly believe it has already been a month. This week has been nothing short of amazing. I have lost an incredible 9.7kg in the past 4 weeks! My smaller size clothing is now fitting me like a glove. My weight loss is mainly coming from fat, and I am delighted to see it happening! But my visceral fat is currently at 12.5, which is still at the unhealthy level. I’m determined to work on reducing my visceral fat to reduce my risk of serious health issues. My BMI is at 27, which means I’m still in the unhealthy weight range. But hey, I’m more motivated than ever to keep pushing forward. I have decided to extend the program for another 2 weeks because, this journey has become, so much more, than just numbers on the scale. It’s about embracing a healthier lifestyle and making it sustainable so that the results would work for the long term. That’s it for this week! I can't wait to share the continued success with you. Week 5 - Weight loss Update

Hey, everyone! James here! I am back with the latest update on my weight loss journey. I realised how this journey has led me to adopt good eating habits. I am able to easily control my cravings for MSG and sugar laden food such as bread, Hokkien mee, fishball noodles, and even chicken rice, during this period. Instead, I developed a love for wholesome food such as chicken, fish, and eggs. And you know what? I now look forward to my daily fruit serving. My sense of taste and smell has also become very sensitive, and I am not as sleepy during the day. This means I do not need caffeine just to get through the workday. It is a refreshing change! In a matter of 5 weeks, I have lost a remarkable 11.7 kg! In addition, my visceral fat has dropped again, putting me on the right track to better health. My BMI is also showing steady progress toward the healthy range. I am truly grateful for this program. It has been a life-changing experience, and I am committed to maintaining these new habits even after the program has ended. Thats it for week 5! Thanks for watching this video.

Hello everyone, James here for the final week of my incredible weight loss journey with Eureka Wellness. Its hard to believe that 6 weeks have passed, and the results have exceeded my expectations. I am fitting into the clothes that used to be tight! This is proof that my dedication and hard work have totally paid off. As I transit out of this phase, I m excited to reintroduce health-benefiting foods and snacks into my diet. Thanks to the guidance of my health coach, I m inspired to revamp my family's food choices too. Feeling lighter and more energetic, I am ready to take the next step. I plan to incorporate daily workouts to tone up and get fitter. I am still in shock that I have lost an amazing 12.5 kg in 6 weeks. My visceral fat level was initially very high at 17, but I finished this phrase of the program at a lowered level of 11.5. I am committed to maintaining this transformation. The  toughest challenge happened during the 1st week. Being a big time snacker, I need to overcome the false signals from my brain and overcome my habitual cravings. I know I am not hungry, I just want to eat something.

I felt slightly more tired during the 1st week and had to go to bed earlier than usual. This is a good thing as I used to go to bed really late which is detrimental to my health and concentration.

During the weight loss program, I slept earlier and woke up earlier. I felt refreshed and could focus better during the day. My energy levels saw a good improvement from week #2 onwards and I do not feel tired easily during the day.

Surprisingly, I felt great. However, I need to go to the loo more frequently. In addition, my daily bowel movement increased to twice per day during the 1st week. I think my body is detoxing 😂

My experience was beyond just physical changes. I somehow felt relieved because I knew that when my visceral fat continues to reduce, my risk of developing health issues also goes down. It has also boosted my confidence. And I learned to appreciate nutritious, whole foods. It feels good to have full control over cravings and unhealthy eating habits.

I learned that losing weight sustainably is quite a challenge, but it is possible – only when we are fully committed to the goal. And that you have to sacrifice comfort in exchange for results.

The most difficult part for me is the fear of developing health diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Self-esteem, body image, and social stigma come next on the list.

I will surround myself with people who are supportive of my healthy lifestyle, set realistic goals, and reward myself with non-food treats whenever I reached each milestone.

I felt mild hunger during my first days on the program, but eventually I found my servings to be satisfying. I had cravings, yes, but for more protein from chicken, fish, and eggs. And it faded over time. I also adopted the habit of eating fruits.

I kept myself hydrated, which I think is a big factor that reduces cravings. And getting enough sleep, too.

Apart from my goal of reducing visceral fat, I also noticed changes in my appetite and energy levels as weeks passed. This is what motivated me to complete the program.

I’m ecstatic to see my weight loss finally happening. Time flew so fast and I did not notice that I already completed the four-week journey. I realised that it is important to embrace a healthy lifestyle for the body to be healthy.

It has become so much more than just numbers on the scale.
It feels good to adopt healthy eating habits and choices that benefits my health. Hence, extending the program by 2 weeks is a natural progression for me.

At the end of week #1, I’ve noticed that I was sleeping better than I did before I started. It might be because my body adapted to the new healthier habits. My sleep quality improved a lot as I progressed.
